Maestro™ LED Headlight System
This limited manufacturer warranty from Surgimag applies to all countries to the extent that no other warranty exists at that location.
Pursuant to the following contractual provisions, Surgimag guarantees material, construction and design to be free of deficiencies from the time of first purchase.
1. This limited liability applies to the end purchaser of the product (Client). Legal claims by the client or claims by the client against the seller/dealer of the device are neither excluded nor limited.
2. The standard limited warranty for the product is for 12 months from the time of purchase by the original purchaser. The standard limited warranty applies to the LED headlight, battery pack, and all accessory items included with the product. These warranties are nontransferable and shall only apply to the original purchaser of the product, as exclusively contained in Surgimag records.
3. During the warranty period, defective units (according to a unilateral decision by Surgimag), will be repaired or replaced either by Surgimag or by authorized customer service. The client will receive either the repaired or a comparable replacement unit from Surgimag. Exchanged parts or accessory parts become the property of Surgimag.
4. There is no extended or renewed warranty period for repaired or replaced parts.
5. This limited warranty does not apply to painted or otherwise personalized parts.
This limited warranty does not apply to abnormal signs of use. In addition, this limited warranty does not apply if:
The deficiency has been caused by misuse of the instructions for operation, inappropriate use, contact with fluids or moisture or extreme heat or climatic conditions and/or short term variations in relevant influences or to corrosion, oxidation, unauthorized intervention or attempts at connection, unauthorized opening or repair, repair attempts with unacceptable replacement parts, abnormal installation, accidents, force majeure, spillage of food or drinks, chemical influences or other influences over which Surgimag has no control (including deficiencies to operational parts such as batteries that only have a limited lifespan, as well as damage to cables), unless the deficiency is caused by a material, construction or fabrication error.
The client does not report the deficiency within 30 days after it was discovered within the Surgimag warranty period or to an authorized customer service agent. The serial number has been removed, scratched off, crossed out, changed or illegible.
Loupes
This limited manufacturer warranty from Surgimag applies to all countries to the extent that no other warranty exists at that location.
Surgimag provides the following warranties (limited by the time period specified, if any) on the components and features of its Surgimag loupe (the “Product”):
• LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY on all telescopes
• 3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on frames, carrier lenses, and adhesives.
• 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on accessory items
Under these warranties, Surgimag warrants that all product parts, when new, and for the time period specified, will be free of defects in material and workmanship, and perform in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, when subject to normal use and service from Surgimag or its authorized agent for the time period of the warranty. The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase from Surgimag.
Any warranty that is listed above as being “limited” does not cover breakage or failure due to tampering, misuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation, modification, shipping, normal wear and tear, orto improper maintenance, service or cleaning procedures. These warranties are also void if the Product is not used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations or instructions, if serviced by a party other than Surgimag or its authorized agent, or if the serial number has been removed or altered in any way.
During the warranty period, defective units (at the sole discretion of Surgimag), will be repaired or replaced either by Surgimag or by an authorized dealer. The client will receive either the repaired or a comparable replacement unit from Surgimag. There is no extended or renewed warranty period for repaired or replaced parts. Exchanged parts or accessory parts become the property of Surgimag. It shall be the purchaser's responsibility to return the Product, in appropriate packing materials, so as to prevent accidental breakage in transit, and sufficiently cleaned and disinfected, directly to Surgimag or one of its authorized agents. Surgimag reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to repair or replace the Product if the Product is deemed to be unsanitary. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the Product to be returned to the purchaser for appropriate cleaning and sanitation, and the purchaser shall be responsible for all shipping charges
